Many people are deciding to have elevators installed into their homes. At Vision Elevators, we carry high-quality vacuum residential elevators. We recommend a glass pneumatic design for anyone thinking about having an elevator installed in their home.
A glass pneumatic elevator uses a vacuum system that moves the cab quickly and safely between floors. The pneumatic vacuum sucks the cab up or down the elevator shaft, and a brake system stops the cab at the desired floor. One of the biggest benefits is that most homes fit practically any pneumatic elevator, with limited installation. Its cylindrical shape allows it to be used even when space is limited, while still providing sufficient cab space.
At Vision Elevators, we refer to our products as “glass elevators,” when in fact the panels are made from clear polycarbonate. The term “glass elevator” is used for product recognition; however, some of our elevators can be constructed of true glass upon request.
At Vision Elevators, we have several different glass pneumatic elevator models. Our smallest model is the Vision 350. This model has a weight limit of 350 pounds, does not require a pit or machine room, and has a diameter or 30 inches. Great for residential use, the Vision 350 can be attached to a balcony or through a hole in the floor.
Our Vision 450 model has a weight limit of 450 pounds, does not require a pit or machine room, and has a diameter of 37 inches. This is a great residential elevator for any family. With enough space to hold two adults, the Vision 450 is great for a busy household.
Our last glass pneumatic elevator, the Vision 550, is great for anyone who uses a wheelchair. With a weight limit of 525 pounds and a diameter or 52 inches, the Vision 550 is large enough to have a passenger in a wheelchair. Even though this model is bigger, a pit or machine room is still not required, keeping the installation price minimal. Keep your independence and mobility with the Vision 550 and travel up to four stops, making every area of your home accessible to you.

For all Vision Elevator’s products, mechanical parts are backed by a 10-year warranty, electrical by a three-year warranty, and labour for a one-year warranty. Our support far surpasses competitors’, who offer one- to three-year warranties at best.
For addressing these needs, Vision Elevators offers America’s Best Warranty and 24/7 telephone support. Customers can reach us at any time for answers to questions, and parts and maintenance are supported by one of the most extensive warranties in the industry.
We often refer to Vision Elevators as ‘glass elevators’ but in fact the clear panels are made of clear polycarbonate. The term glass is used for quick recognition of the type of elevator. If you want your elevator constructed of true glass, please discuss with your sales representative. This can be done with some models. Please understand that this adds considerable cost to the elevator.
These glass elevators are provided by Nationwide Lifts. With office located across the country, Nationwide Lifts is sure to have a team available to assist with your questions.
